How to Choose a Web Developer in Jaipur (10 Questions to Ask)
Most bad website experiences could have been avoided by asking four questions before paying the advance. Here are all ten.
Almost every complaint we hear about a previous developer traces back to something that was never asked at the start. These questions take five minutes and save months.
The four that matter most
- 1Will the domain and hosting be registered in my name and my email? Anything other than a straight yes is a red flag — this is how businesses end up unable to leave.
- 2What exactly is included, in writing? A scope document listing pages, features and revisions prevents the ₹5,000 quote becoming ₹14,000.
- 3What renews every year and who is it paid to? Domain and hosting recur. Any other 'annual maintenance' should be optional and clearly stated.
- 4Can I edit content myself after launch? If every price change needs an email and an invoice, your site will go stale within a year.
The other six
- 1Show me three sites you built that are live right now — then open them on your phone and check speed.
- 2Will you set up Google Analytics and Search Console? If not, you cannot measure anything.
- 3Is the site mobile-first? Ask to see a mobile mockup before desktop.
- 4Who writes the content? If it's you, budget the time. If it's them, ask the price upfront.
- 5What happens after the support period? A good answer is 'nothing breaks, and further work is optional'.
- 6What is the payment schedule? A reasonable split is part at approval, rest at launch. Large advances before you have seen anything are a risk.
On price
The cheapest quote in Jaipur is usually a page-builder template on shared hosting, with no SEO structure and no analytics. It works, briefly. Within a year most owners pay someone else to rebuild it — so the cheap site costs the cheap price plus the real price.
